What is discrimination? It is conduct that manifests itself through words, gestures, voluntary or involuntary acts or rules intended to exclude a person, to inferior him or to deny him certain rights because of his personal characteristics:
- Skin color, ethnicity
- Age
- Gender identity and expression
- Sexual orientation
- Political conviction
- Religion
- Civil status
- Handicap
- Language
- Pregnancy
- Social condition
- Body image
Am I discriminating? Some behaviors, comments, prejudices or environments perpetuate discrimination, directly or indirectly, while people from under-represented groups constantly experience it.
